Health, they say is wealth.

When one is healthy, he is wealthy. Health could be referred to as the state of being well and free from illness; mental or physical condition. Human beings are prone to illness, due to some certain reasons. For instance, a person who lives is water logged areas stand chances of having malaria. Malaria is a type of disease that causes recurring fever. It is common in African countries. When a place is water logged, it gives mosquitoes opportunity to breed and multiply intensively. Mosquitoes are blood sucking insects, and are carriers of germs that cause malaria.

They people affected are people who have open refuse bins around their homes, who keep dirty water here and there, and have water logged in different corners of the house. Mosquitoes breed in dirty areas. Not only do they cause malaria, they also cause discomfort to people by making irritating sounds, especially in the ears. They hardly bite people during the day. They “operate” at night, when people have come home to eat and rest after the day’s work. They are very merciless insects.

The malaria parasite is carried by the female anopheles mosquito. When it bites someone, it infects the bacteria into the person system, and causes malaria. The spot were it bit the person turns “red” because blood cloths around it. The victim of this bite will have to scratch that spot due to the itchy sensation. And this makes it swell up a little. Sometimes, the mosquito does not bite or suck blood on one spot, or part of the body. It could bite on different parts of the body.

Today, scientists have found out different preventions and cure for malaria. We have treated mosquito nets that are spread over the bed, to prevent mosquito bites. There is also the presence of malaria drugs to kill the disease, and reduce the rate of death caused by this disease. Also there is the presence of antimalaria drugs, and also immunity drug, to help immune one from malaria.

If we keep our environment clean, mosquitoes will certainly be far from us.

Crystolite.

I enjoyed your hub. It might have been better titled "Malaria" or something referring to that. It had little to do with wealth.

All in all, very good information.

I look forward to reading more of your work.
